PERSONAL STATEMENT
At this point in my career I am very keen to take on any roles especially those have a basis in the Media and associated services, as this is the focus of my studies. As such, I am willing to take on any role or task in order to begin to develop my experience in this arena.
Whilst at Warwick I enjoyed being part of the Warwick University's student radio station where I wrote and co-presented 'Girls on POP' which won the society's best newcomer award, which I was extremely proud of.
I am extremely passionate about writing, both professionally and in my spare time. I thoroughly enjoyed studying for my MA which has encouraged me to continue writing for all different types of media. I have also become more focused on writing comedy because of my absolute love of the genre and my persistent need to please, which also comes in handy.
I have been dedicated to pursuing a career as a writer both through writing scripts for radio sketches, short films, writing film reviews for a local newspaper website and writing my own blog. I also completed an open studies module in Journalism alongside my degree. I am totally committed, hard-working and ambitious with a dry sense of humour that would be totally inappropriate to display in a professional C.V. Perhaps you'll take my word for it.
